You are the one making references to social standing not me. I compared his efforts to those of the Euro riders, do you think the fact Alex BArros rode around the track for 17 years for 7 wins had anything to do with the money his sponsor brought to his team?? Where as U.S. U.K. & Aus riders get dropped, sometimes after only 1 bad season. Drop the Charles Dickens references, you have swayed so far from my original comments that this discussion has become redundant. Hope the medication helps!

Yes you were. If he wins, its cuz he's from Australia, if he looses then it's because the Italians and Spaniards have more sponsors. That's what you are saying. Admit it, you are trying to paint a Dickensian portrait of a guy in a rich kids sport. Don't get it twisted either, I think the guys great. Don't make it out to be more than what it is.

Jeez I'm sure Casey is really upset you don't like him? And yeah your right forget about the 2007 championship he should be appologising to his fans and Ducati for that one! He's so selfish!
-
Drawing a bit of a long bow there aren't you? Did I compare him to poor people? Of course he wasn't on welfare or living in housing comission and I never said he was, I was drawing a comparison with other riders. So why did you even bother to make a statment like that when it bares no relevance to what I said. I certainly wasn't trying to jerk any tears just responding to to his critics! And good on you for working in a poor neighborhood, I'm sure its richer for having you there!?
-
Earned it the hard way? While I agree he is a very good motorcycle racer, at least he had an opportunity, an expensive one at that. I work in a VERY poor neighborhood in Brooklyn so his story is hardly a tear jerker. As for you calling me a "moron"? Heck, I live in New Yawk, ya gotta bring more than that.

Do you know anything of his past? Do you know that his family sold their home to support his passion. Packed up the family and travelled the world for their son. Can you honestly tell me the sponsors don't influence the country of origin their riders come from? He is Rich because he earnt it the hard way so get your facts right moron before you make comment!

C'mon now, give us a break. Don't give us the sob story the man has plenty of backing. He's a rich kid like all others..
