  • Heatwave brings back so many great memories, Oh I remember being foot loose and fancy free, not a care in the world. Wanting to hurry and grow up... thats the only part of the memories that I regret. I know now that my late teens were ideal, listening to Heatwave and so many other talented groups... Thanks for Posting, I really enjoyed the trip back to the 70's... it was GROOVY!

  • @Sallywalker1 You are welcomed.

  • Thanks for this. I didn't realize how "tight" this band was until the unsung documentary.

  • @atl808 Nobody did.

  • Man, I was looking for this video after watching the unsung episode. Thanks for posting it, man.

  • @juiceeddieshow222 You're welcome. In fact, I posted this long before the Unsung episode.

  • MY WORD!!! I FEEL GREAT!!!

  • I am from Dayton, Ohio, and I remember how proud we all were of Johnnie and the other guys from here for making it big back then. We came from the same projects De Soto Bass, and it was really good to see a rose rise from the concrete. Thanks for posting this!!!

  • I dare somebody to click DISLIKE on this. This shit is LIVE!!! Just wish it was clearer

  • At :16 Keith says "everybody get down one time," then at :21 Johnnie backs him up with the ill falsetto and goes "one time." Love that shit!!!

  • Look at Heatwave up above on that screen....and think of the bullshit on the radio and t.v. today. Somebody help us!!!

  • @atl808 I didn't realize all the tragedies until the Unsung documentary. But even as a kid in the 70s I knew this group was tight. Them and The Ohio Players. I had no choice as my father and brothers thrust it all down your throat daily. Lol

  • Baad Boys!

  • COBO ARENA DETROIT THIS BAND OPENED UP FOR CHAKA AND RUFUS AND STOLE THE SHOW I WAS16

  • Heatwave is funkier than EVER in this one. And, Johnny Wilder's moves rival Michael Jackson! He along with Keith, and the band had some serious moves! :-)

  • my god they were very tight, that drummer is sick
