Messed up chilhood? Please what a pathetic way to try and explain sean change in belief. I would say that his turn around comes from the fact that he got a great education. Did anyone notice that all ECP kids were in college by the time they were 16. That means they were taught to think and question. It is amazing that this system they were in did still teach them to think for themselves and now they are all out. I wonder how many children of CUT members stayed in the religion?

I guess since I am a christian, I am in the third group. I have never understood how ANYBODY can be an atheist. However, I want to say thank you Sean for your honesty, it is refreshing. Best Regards, Eric

There's a fourth group. Perhaps the smallest of them all. The progression from child buddha, albeit imposed, to adult atheist is not very far. It is still definition by abuse. Hoping for a post religious world is as utopian and hoping to transmute the worlds problems. It's the same idealism.

THX FOR UR WORK i never knew they wer getting armed at the ranch whats up with that?? im ex member from Mex, i wanted to be a like a priest or sumthing haha but rite now im working on science im studying and stuff, i hope more and more people gets out the cult as i did

I love Elizabeth's teachings!I know she wasn't perfect, nobody is, but I believe she was a real Messenger...and I agree with lots of her teachings...even if there are some aspects I don't.

Thanks for these 5 clips,Sean - I'll look for the doc. Your sister, Erin's 2009 book gives sensitive insight on that shelter episode too. (It's remarkable the Prophet kids all still speak too each other ! ) I like how you say awareness is spirituality also. Hierarchal religions just need to let go of their ego-obsession with power. We'd all be better off for it.
