TF2 Beta on Steam Beta on Ubuntu 12.10... Gaming on Linux is now a reality!

The weird graphic elements in this video are not in the game thats just a weird encoding issue from when I recorded the video... The game runs smoothly with no issues.

    Its just RecordMyDesktop having encoding issues not the Steam client

    can someone help me? I installed Team Fortress 2 on my Ubuntu 12.10 but when I start the game it just runs the sound,not the video,anyone had this problem to?

    Maybe you could try doing a video using the Source engine's inbuilt demo recorder tool? It's the way everyone on Windows does it, and it might work in Linux too.

    (and if rendered through the game itself, it exports at a lossless quality by default. Beware of long render times and GBs of data.)
