  • robertnobody, this band isn't van halen. don't compare the two.

  • glencunningtonr Thank I am so glad you can see the truth. It's really too bad that you have brain dead idiots on here who can't see that I was defending the members of Chickenfoot against an ignorant troll. Instead you have some brain dead chimps who just walk in and give you a thumbs down because instead of reading, they assume you are putting them down. Some people are just so stupid. Take Care.

  • what was the setlist for this show?

  • @realdrummer110 first off, Chickenfoot kicks ass and is way better than Van Halen. So shut the hell up

  • All this chickenppop band does is sell new copies of old VH albums..That's how Mickey Mouse this garage band is..

  • Eddie Van Halen or whatever the blokes name is took lessons from Joe Satriani.

Eddie can't play shit compared to the Satch, not to mention Steve Vai or John Petrucci.

    Van Halen sucked the balls.

  • bad sound!!!!

  • "Different"? Surely you jest. Take a walk through any low-rent warehouse complex full of toilet-sized rehearsal spaces and listen to all the fifth-generation metal heads making *exactly* the same corny noise. Show of hands: how many of the positive commenters here were ringers sent by the management? Rawfl.

  • Just great in the lake!!!

    Long life rocker

  • Without doubt yes. Satriani and Vai used to jam at Eddies house, and undoubtedly picked up a lot of his style. Plus you cant have Michal Anthony doing backing vocals for Sammy Hagar without it sounding like a Van Halen track regardless of the guitar player. I think this is all a bit of fun for them though, nothing too serious, and will only last for a couple of albums or so, but you never know. Heard the full album now and its groovy :)

  • The band, though superb, seems like the grand child of Van Halen, which is reasonable given how Eddie tremendously influenced - and definitely influneced the guitar sound - the genre.
