nope completely disagree. Anyone who can sign that dotted line for the United States Armed Forces, with the knowing that they could be sent over seas away from everything they known into a war zone, and possibly have to fight is a hero to me. Because they are willing to give their life for something bigger than themselves. It's a fantastic feeling.

All my brothers, regardless if they only do laundry for the military are heroes.

  • I love Rockie Lynne ! and I love this song.

  • America is full of heroes, no matter where they come from--love this song--that is why I ride Patriot Guard to honor all that have served. As a Nam vet we will never forget the ones that have served for us.

  • its worth checking out

    i agree with you 100%

  • Well, if you folks want to compare a guy being deployed overseas to a true hero such as Audie Murphy, Alvin York, or those I mentioned before, be my guest. All I know is that I personally get uncomfortable when someone calls me a hero just because I served overseas. I was just a soldier doing my duty like many before me in my family. I am not some hero to be worshiped or placed on a pedestal. Respect soldiers, honor their service and sacrifices, but don't insult us.

  • We miss you Matt!!!
