While he seems a little more meditative in his old age, songs like this only benefit from it.

I love this song. I wore out my Flat Earth and Golden Age of Wireless tapes long ago, I played them so often and for so long. Long journeys were a breeze as long as I had my walkman and my Dolby tapes. I even saw him during his Flat Earth tour at the Birmingham Odeon. Met him and all I could say was,"huduhhudu...could you sign this please?"
As I proffered my ticket. I think the guy next to me during the concert must have been smoking the weed because my head felt so high.

I play upright and electric bass (also decent acoustic guitar) and I sing good harmony vocals. I have LOVED your music for so long- almost 30 years. I think about "Leipzig" and the different versions of "Radio Silence" and "Windpower" all of the time - at work , and at play. Thomas Dolby, you are so brilliant and I wish that I could show you how well I know your songs. Best regards, Steve

I absolutely love the Live in Chicago DVD and this live tour presents Dolby in a new perspective. I only hope that the bonus track for Airwaves is recorded again for release after that obnoxiously loud group of kids in Chicago talked through such a beautiful performance of this revamped song.
