thanks for the input, bro, I appreciate it =)

Your form is great! But I have to agree with DRAGONIOUS7, definitely lower your stance when striking downward to increase power which is necessary when using a 1 handed sword.
AWESOME vid in any case!

@sillumwingchun You taught it o Arnie, who I got it from. Then you corrected it for me . If memory serves, my first day at the school you were teaching Arnie the end of the set =)

I was wondering what style it was as it seemed very similar to my Hung Kuen lineage's broadsword form.
Although, I guess that most southern weapons forms have a certain level of similarity to each other (as you've already mentioned this is a Choy Li Fut form)
It was nice to see something vaguely familiar to me.

been wanting to pick up the Hung Kuen weapons sets, but my sifu is out of commission after a car accident. I've been hoping to train with his master, but he's always out of the country, lol

Sadly I don't know any of the Hung Kuen weapons sets apart from about half the butterfly swords form (although I learnt this from a video of one of the blackbelts and it looks a lot different from other videos I've seen).
I'd train with my teacher's master but he is actually out of the country (residing in Malaysia) but I will be heading over there some point next year to train.

I wish I had the wherewithal to train overseas, but I'm up to my armpits in student loan debt and just got laid off=/
On the bright side, I now have more time to train on my own=)
