@SleepingAncient I actually like the added players hand books that were put out. I dont have them all, but I got the ones I liked. I had to add Druids & Barbs back :) No different to me than having an Unearthed Arcana and other class releasing books. I never loved gnomes but they are in the 2nd PHB for thoughs that do. Off topic but One thing I noticed people over look is D&D still has a base attack (your normal hit with weapon attack) Powers are feats, special moves, & spells.

@SleepingAncient I always thought they were horned & tailed spawned by mixed demon blood. In 4e they are the left overs to an Empire of Nobles that through dark pacts tainted their blood. Align is simplified, but it does talk about personality differences so that all LG are not the same. All the old Align fit into the five new ones, leaving room for personality. Like True Neutral would be unalign but more of a personality for a specific group of people. PHB= Players Hnd books.

yeah 4e isn't much of a game.
It took my group 3 years to give in & try 4e. We chucked it when it first came out. Its our game of choice these days. Encounters are easy to run at every lvl & get pretty epic, Tieflings were set in appearance in 2nd ed. Planescape.. I was surprised they were made main in 4e at all. Align. still has LG, CG, LE, CE, & unaligned (istead of CN, & TN,) They just encourage Good aligned heros, but still leave it for the players. I actually like the amount of PHBs out, Fully agree w/ you on the $ite.

@inlife9 Humm not certain what you mean. Tieflings in Planescape had no set look. In 4e not only do they have a set look, but they are a race unto themselves (while in planescape they were like half elves). Align is simplified. what do you mean by " I actually like the amount of PHBs out"

@SleepingAncient: Open the Player's Handbook to page 54 and read "Power Types and Usage" and also on the same page under "How to Read a Power."

@daddystabz Thanks. Much later after posting this I found the info. Though it moot now since we're currently playing Changeling the Lost.
