- Should I update from 5.0.0 to 5.0.1
You might as well, less bugs & better compatibility that way!
- No icons/ missing apps?
Make sure you try rebooting the iDevice, if no luck then, make sure you have the right firmware, version of Redsn0w and iDevice.
- It says that I'm in recovery mode! What do I do?

- Is it a virus?
No, the links on my site are either to a google registered site, webs or the TinyUmberella blog.
- Is jailbreaking illegal?
No, go look it up. What is illegal is using it for app piracy, so I don't do that, just use it for system tweaks ect.
- When if there going to be a jailbreak for my iDevice?
Look on a blog such as www.redmondpie.com
- I can't get my phone into DFU mode!
Well it took me a few attempts so it may take you quite a few too. If you fail, you will probably need TinyUmberella (look at my site: http://xz0mbiekillerx.webs.com/jailbreak.htm)

Compatibility:
This jailbreak only works on A4 processor devices and older. This is covered in the videos.

Written Tutorial:
- Download the latest version of Redsn0w from the links mentioned ablove.
- Start Redsn0w, select "Jailbreak" then check "Install Cydia". Follow the on-screen steps to place your device into DFU mode (lock button for 3 seconds, then 10 secs on home, without releasing lock yet, then release lock and keep holding home for further 30 secs).
- Wait for Redsn0w to apply the full untethered jailbreak!

Once done, your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch will be rebooted into fully untethered jailbreak mode!

@NoIceOnParadise No, when iTunes backs up a jailbroken phone, it backs up the usual but with the addition of the jailbroken settings which won't effect you in any way in the future. The jailbreak won't add much to the backup size either... joshuaps3kid is my second account btw...

if i backup my iPhone while its jailbroken and the restore from that back up to a non jailbroken iPhone will it mess up my iPhone??? So how does iTunes handle jailbroken iPhone when they get backed up???
