  • Fine playing! To my ears it sounds a little pecky and bony. But if they "go there", then give more variety of accents and articulations. This interpretation combines the luxury of Guarneri with the style of Hogwood. The combo mix doesn't work for me. I would prefer a bit more flesh in the sound and more energy in the accents. It's the last mov of the quartet, for pete sake. Hit the gas pedal boys! Great group though!
