@Zattack999 As for the load order, do this.
TOP:
Oblivion.esm
all other mods
Curse of hircine resurrected.esp
Curse of hircine addons such as first person anims, whatever you got
Curse of hircine symphony of night.esp
cidnothump.esp

@Zattack999 The banana bit was just a joke =) If you don't have Shivering Isles most mods will not work. If you have Shivering Isles (SI for short) you need the 1.2.146 patch for SI. If you don't have SI you just get the normal 1.2.146 patch. But as I said, if you don't have SI, CoH probably won't work. I checked the readme and it had no mention of needing it but sometimes they omit that bit thinking everyone has SI.
-
No I am not, after many times of trying to get it but couldn't i just got it, but, i didn't have Shivering Isles, also do i need the 1.2.146 patch for SE or Oblivion or both? I have it for oblivion only. Can you tell me how i should set the load order, and what do you mean by having a banana for a data folder? As always thanks in advance
-
@Zattack999 wait, are you trying to use that mod with curse of hircine? If so the 2 would probably be incompatible.
Things i can think of that would cause the mods not to work:
-Not having OBSE or the correct version of it.
-Not having the load order set right
-Not having the files installed correctly
-Not checking off the esp/esm files
-Not having shivering isles official add-on
-Not having version 1.2.146 patch
-Having a banana for a data folder
chech these. i want u to have COH
-
@shitflinger yeah its quite frustrating, so im just using the werewolf mod WTA: Werewolves the Awakening
-
@Zattack999 LotN-legends of the north. Umm, if you say you have obse and installed everything right then I have no idea why nothing is working. As you saw in the vid they work just fine for me. Sorry man
-
@shitflinger I did have both SoN and CoH resurrected , i dont know what LotN is tho
-
@Zattack999 Ok, there should be a pop-up quest update for Legends of the North whenever you load a gamesave or start a new one. CoH only gives you a quest update when you become infected and after you go through your first night as a werewolf. COH Symphony of Night is an expansion to COH Resurrected. Without Resurrected, SoN does nothing. Also, did you activate the esp file for LotN? I'm asking because 9 times out of 10 all mod probs have very simple solutions. Could have overlooked something.
-
@shitflinger I had the required mods, and i manually installed, ive installed mods manually before so i know how to do it
-
@Zattack999 well, start by explaining how you installed the mods. Did you manually install the files or did you create an OMOD from them?
Also, do you have the proper required mods to run them?
-
I have installed the werewolf mods CoH: Symphony of the Night, and Werewolves legends of the north, and when i load them (with a completely new save) i can find crap, no evidence of a new quest line, or werewolves anywhere!
plz help!!!!
-
@tofujoe100 i agree! its by far one of my favorites.
-
CoH = best oblivion mod ever soo smooth and nicely done and uuuber fun!
-
@parkorelover123 derp a gerp!
-
Herp a derp! :D

@svord000 I honestly can't think of anything else that would be causing the mod to not work other than improper installation, missing files, or not having the required files/mods. If nothing else works man I'm stumped. You should post your situation on the CoH Resurrected or SotN comments page. The guys who made the mod frequently check the page and update their mod so an answer won't take too long. Who knows you may have dl'd an old version of it that had a bug with that quest cuz there is one
-
@svord000 If you are not using the steam version of Oblivion, then try starting a new game when using the mods and check the active effects page of your journal after doing the infection quest to make sure you got it.
I made a new friend while broadcasting my gameplay on xfire last week who was interested in this mod so I told him all about it. He now has it and it works just fine so its not a problem with the mod. =/
-
@svord000 Actually dude I found out what your problem is. Its because you are using the steam version of Oblivion. Mods like OBSE, MGE, etc. access the main executable which is not the same as the retail .exe, as it is encrypted for Steam's DRM.
Unlike Fallout 3, which has it's launcher encrypted instead of it's main .exe, allowing the FOSE to work just fine. The mods that rely on Oblivion Script Extender and Morrowind Script Extender (as well as Graphics Extender) will not work
-
@shitflinger not working still.
-
@svord000 oooo steam. well lemme know if it works man.
This is too bad to be true.
