This has been one of my favorite Kate songs for years, and I when I found out she was rerecording it and releasing it as a single (on April 5th!!!), I decided to record a little tribute version! =] Listen to the lyrics... the fact that Kate predicted the future in 1989 is really astonishing, but not surprising to us loyal Kate fans. =D It is even more relevant today than it was in 1989! I battled whether to do this on piano (much easier) or guitar (much harder), and I chose guitar, because yes, it needs work (My first guitar video)!!! Trying to get more comfortable playing it, so forgive my mistakes! The chorus is the computer singing back, so I added a few effects and filters to make it sound sort of other-worldly and ethereal!
