Crossing the Verde River (FR 68 to Fossil Creek Rd). Ric & Wade with the Virtual Jeep Club along with Ryan from Arizona Trailways cross forge the Verde River on the Dugas Rd Trail.
Wow its all over I guess. It used to be a fun place to play. I was a white water guy and my brother wrote the Verde River Recreation Guide. Sad to see the comments. Chains, restrictions and the like. Its a beautifull piece of land.
Is there a place to cross on 68C? I am planning a trip to the area and may have to circumnavigate Childs if the gates are locked. Last time I was on 68C, we didn't find a place to cross, but that was 20 years ago.

Was this upstream from Childs, or downstream. (Forest rd. 68G, or 68C?)
