This was shot through the windshield of my '93 Civic (B18C1 swap, N/A) with an HTC Sensation during a late afternoon session of the 2011 Customer Appreciation lapping day at High Plains Raceway, CO on Dec. 28 2011. Watch it set at 480p for the best picture.

I'm on REALLY old/hard 225/45-15 Hoosier R6s. My suspension is very basic: Koni Sport dampers front (race-valved) and rear (off-the-shelf valving), 850# F, 550# rear. OEM Integra GSR front swaybar, no rear bar; lots of negative camber front and rear. This is the first time I've driven the track since the repaving/repairs in corners 5, 6, 8, and 13.

The track conditions during this session were as good as they were all day... the ice/snow on the inside of T2 and T11 was mostly gone, and temps were about peaked, probably in the low 50s. I have a passenger during this session.

At 0:14, the Spec Miata I'd been following during my out lap waves me by.

From about 1:00 to 2:15, I'm trying to close the gap to a Nissan 350Z, but it's about as fast as me in the corners, and probably faster in the straights.

At 2:18, an open wheel car catches me heading up the hill to T13 and goes on by. Luckily I saw him in my rearview; the open wheel cars close so fast, and are so small and low to the ground that they're easy to miss coming up on you.

At 3:15 (T4), I've caught a Subaru WRX or STI (sorry, I'm not sure which) after chasing it down the back straight, and the driver waves me by after T5. He/she probably should have been in the slow group, not the fast group.

And around 4:05, I start trying to reel in the electron blue 2002 C5 Z06 of Dale Billingsley. It's pretty hard to catch a car with that kind of HP advantage, but the weight and grip advantage of my Civic makes it really fun to try. The prolonged 3-lap fight to catch the Corvette continues here:

My best (recorded) lap that day was a 2:11.302, from start/finish line to start/finish line.
