Anime Rant: Dragonball Z

In this video I will be talking about my past experience of watching the classic anime series Dragonball Z. Since I had started collecting the DBZ DVD box sets, I decided to talk about how I got into the series, how I watched it, and what I think of the series. Do you remember those past moments when DBZ used to be on Toonami? I missed those moments and to make it up i'll be looking forward to watching all the episodes of DBZ including any movies that I have not seen yet. During the making of this movie I didn't get to mention that I had seen the Dragonball Evolution movie, it was okay, but not good enough to be as good as the original Dragonball anime. No doubt that Dragonball Z is the best anime ever created. It literally has something for everyone.

Examples are:

TONS of fighting scenes, for people who love action.

Aliens, for those who are into sci-fi.

Androids, for people who like technical stuff.

Anime girls, for those who like cute/sexy things.

The people who only hate on it simply haven't watched the series, or don't watch enough of it.

@Sunshinethefox Thanks for your feedback there. Indeed I have heard and seen pictures of DBZ when I was young. Classic fighting, action, it was fun to watch when it used to be on Toonami.  Regardless of the fillers, I would watch it anyways since I have seen it on TV. Watching all 291 episodes would mean you are really into DBZ. As for DB and GT those I will watch into someday :)

Dragonball is by far the best of the series in my opinion. Because its more fighting instead of using energy blasts and powering up. Dont get me wrong i think its pretty epic when the power up but you just cant beat little kid Goku and his adventures. Going SSJ is pretty epic too but i dont think all of them should have hit it because it makes it look so easy for a saiyan to. If all the remainder saiyans did how come a bigger majority didnt?

@iSiNiCaL Indeed Dragonball is one of the best series out there. Oh yes I also do love the action and fighting as well. What do you think of Dragonball Z Kai? I know there is all action and no fillers added. Actually you're right you do have good points there, I just have not seen a lot of the original Dragonball which had little Goku in it in which I wanna watch someday. Oh yes the Saiyans are cool, especially Vegeta and Nappa.

DB is the best. Not that I hate DBZ it's just that db stayed true to it's original formula and that was finding the dbs. All that changed after the freza saga. Another thing I didn't like was that after the sayian saga the earth warriors were irrelevant because once Goku turned ssj the whole series was about the sayians. Which is cool but I love db & that means I love the db characters as well. It kinda frustrated me to see that dbz became more about power than actual fighting.

@MarkC538 Indeed, DBZ is my most favorite out of the three. Wow I see what you mean, yes the Frieza saga is one of my favorite chapters in the series. When I first heard of DBZ Kai I didnt know what it was about but when I hear it was all action, 100 eps and no fillers, that is also an interest for me. I would also recommend DBZ Kai to others for those that have not seen DBZ before. I still got lots of DBZ movies to watch. Meanwhile thanks for watching and your comment :)

@TrueAnimeLovers DEFINITELY funimation type DBZ, in fact, i grew up watching dragonball z on the channel cartoon network.since then ive been hooked.so what would you say dbz is on your list?thnks and i'll continue watching.

@zIFrEEzAIz I cant remember if I was playing Budokai or Tenkaichi, but either way those games were great and I wanna own at least one of those games in my collection :D Raging Blast 2? Cool :D

Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 is the best dragonball video game ever made so far. I hope that the new Dragon Ball raging blast 2 is good

@TheJarrett132 Wow thats cool to meet up with a DBZ fanatic such as yourself :) What version of the DBZ did you watch? I know there is the Funimation version. Sure thing i'll be glad to let you know what I think of it after I watch it, so i'll keep you updated :)
