@TheSugarcube2 Because they just are. If you look at history, they always champion tax breaks for the rich and corporations. Duh. Many republicans even defended BP when the spilled oil all over the Gulf. So yes, both parties have to cozy up to big business sometimes, but the Republicans are the Party of Big Business and always have been since Lincoln. *(Not always a bad thing, just a fact! except for maybe Teddy Roosevelt)

GE's stock then skyrocketed and as thanks to the American tax-payer GE is now in the process of sending jobs to China! Hypocrisy at it's best!

Next time, don't get your blood pressure up too high over a comment. Who knows, a blood pressure spike could expose a preexisting condition and you might lose your insurance. Oh wait, the President signed historic healthcare legislation, and insurance companies can't screw people over anymore.
