I think you created too much controllers for your characters... sometimes, simplicity is better....

you could try to use IK handle instead of so many curve pivots, I find it very usefull

its a very gud work u have done .....

The weighting seems to be pretty off on alot of the models... Particularily the gobling, and the human with muscles.
