I actually used this analogy on my X husband right before I told him I wanted a divorce. I explained that I was Creme Brule' yet his pallet preferred Jello, (As he was caught twice cheating with Jello females) which I had no attention or aspirations to be. "Now GIVE ME BACK MY LAST NAME"
