@lolaanderson80 Wow, if I didn't know any better I'd think you were Eidnoried, the infamous troll from the IMDB message boards.
PoA may have grossed the least (if you consider $540 million a failure), but it's also the highest-rated of the HP films, according to RottenTomatoes AND Imdb users.
You're nuts if you think the successive films have better scores than this. Patrick Doyle did OK, but Nicolas Hooper's work has been a joke.

I loved the way you put the cast,'...and Gary Oldman as Sirius Black'...the background music was just beautiful - 'Secrets to the Castle'...does anyone else think that PoA music was simply enchanting and magical - the soft medieval feel for each track, just beautiful...and of course, quirky and funny too, the soundtrack had a bit of everything :D...does anyone miss John Williams?

The Vignette needs to be further out and alot less powerful, and the footsteps need to be smaller, and scroll with the credits.

not as good as the book
-
@JoyousGioia do you hear it? haha :)

This is my favourite of the movies... weird that it made the least money while being the highest rated.
As someone who watched the movies first, I wasn't coming with a preconceived idea. Hermione's plot twist coupled with the petronus twist and those killer end credits left me with that wonderful wintery-mystery feeling.. loved it.

@lolaanderson80 Prisoner of Azkaban was one of the only films of the series that REALLY appealed to me. It's scoring was nigh-on perfect and I think Cuaron did a fantastic job of directing the film. He gave it a very 'Olde English' feel.

@lolaanderson80 Wow, someone's crabby. I think that this score really fits with the film, the whole medieval vibe is fantastic. I think yeah, he butchered the book - but really, if all the films were exact carbon copies of the books, what would be the point? Agreed it is the worst of the films, but come on - JK not minding her books being bastardized for the sake of money is a downright lie and just harsh.

@lolaanderson80 I actually think that Chamber of Secrets was the worst, plus PoA I thought was the turning point for the movies, they really started to look towards the adults not just the kids. Not to mention the scenery shots were amazing!
-
@lolaanderson80 That was good for a laugh.

@lolaanderson80 there are probably millions of people in the world who disagree completely with everything you said. PoA was, is, and will always be one of the best HP films out there. and i think that if JK Rowling (aka, THE PERSON WHO CAME UP WITH THE STORY AND WROTE THE BOOK) was fine with the movie, then you would be too. i dont care if thats your opinion of the movie, but dont state your opinion like its fact. its not.

This is my Cellphone Ringtone

@lolaanderson80 Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it's the worst does it. I actually find it one of the best because it had better people making it, number 6 i was quite dissapointed in because it lacks in so many things. Stop assuming you knew better then John Williams did for the music of the film, I'd like to see you try ¬_¬

@lolaanderson80 I think JKR is just happy that her work is able to be enjoyed in more ways than one. I don't think she's in it for the money.
-
Man it was The Best Soundtrack of all HP Moviesand some ecenes of this movie will always remain as Iconic of HP films for instance thepart where they sing Double Trouble is like ''Perfect'' also the end Credits are the Best ones of all Hp films.
-
i really liked PoA and it's still my favourite one. GoF and OotP aren't very good there's too much cut out and too much action. Azkaban has got many small details I really love and Gary Oldman fits quite well in the role of Sirius as I think
don't kill me know it's just my opinion

@eldusto84 Three Words: The Weasely Stomp
-
Nice and i believe that the End Credits need to allowed to tv shows.cause when the film is ending....it close at this part!
-
Why would u wanna put the end credits....?
-
@eldusto84 i liked the band song in the goblet of fire , spiders coming out, double trouble is ok, i like the quidditch world cup song, and the ending credits of the harry potter with the gas credits music , i don't mind john williams but his stuff has an always repetitive used beat or something to it that i know is there but i don't know what it is
-
@eldusto84 poa was crap, i didn't want to sit through it, i like christopher colombus's stuff
-

@JustAnotherSonicFan The music track is "Secrets of the Castle," and is part of the Prisoner of Azkaban soundtrack by John Williams.

This is SHIT!

@neoligist256 Of course, this was one of my first class projects using motion graphics. As you can see, the video is five years old already. I've gotten a bit better with After Effects since then.

Abt PoA soundtrack, what did you think of 'Double Trouble'? I look at it as a fitting tribute to the stellar cast of this film (all of them are veteran stage actors, so Shakespeare had to be part of it, somehow; the words to 'Double Trouble' have been taken from Shakespeare's 'Macbeth'). JKR herself has said on more than one occasion that 'Macbeth' is her favorite Shakespeare play. Also, 'Double Trouble' set up the plot of the film beautifully.

@sallyanneperkins I liked the inclusion of it. Like you said, it kind of set the plot up and really made the film and score complement each other in a way you don't often see in non-musical films. "Secrets of the Castle" is easily my favorite track though, followed by "Buckbeak's Flight."
