@JohnzaloogIII That's no excuse. If you're going to port, do it properly. You don't port to an xbox and keep the ps2's ''use the X button to shoot'' mechanic do you?
I doubt it, from what I've seen so far with wii games, Nintendo rarely takes advantage of the controllers except for the occasional use of it to select items on menus and on shooters, they might make something good with motion plus, but I really doubt it.
also, I think you forgot IT'S A GAMECUBE GAME, it was ported onto the wii to get it going saleswise with the gamers, whilst wiisports was for everybody else, Metroid prime 3 was going to be that game, but it got delayed to perfect the control system.
Maybe with the WiiMotionPlus the next Zelda game will utilize the features you speak of to their greatest potential! Always room for improvement, right? Right!
Fuck that, they didn't even take full advantage of the controllers, which are the ENTIRE BASIS of the system! Imagine how good twilight princess could have been, imagine if they let you actually draw the bow, swing the ball and chain, throw the boomerang! And what did we get? Swinging the wiimote around like a fucking epileptic. Pathetic.
I'm a Zelda fanboy so my manlove for TP is strong. That being said, the game on its own is still freakin' fantastic. If this was the only Zelda game, I'd still play it. What's to complain about? Graphics don't make the game, people! Great, now you got me ranting. Anyway I agree with you and hope this title becomes legendary only years after its release as what happens sometimes with great games.
