My entry for Asis Galvin's Battle of the Beats Gamma competition.

First song is a remix of "Leave the Past Behind", from the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World game soundtrack, as shown in the first part, as well as some little clips from the song here and there. In addition, some 8-bits instruments and osc to set the mood. The kick and hat comes from the "Pause Menu" of the soundtrack as well. I was still trying to keep that futuristic or vgm-type of house feel into it, as well as some sidechaining.

The second song is all original. I was researching like crazy to have it the same style as the game, so I searched the artist, and found out most of how they do it. All in all it's actually pretty good.

My biggest inspirations for the first song go to three people: Hana Yori Kichou Na, Daft Punk (Derezzed being the song), and most importantly, Teddyloid (Theme for Scanty and Kneesocks and Fly Away being the songs of inspiration. I LUUVV those songs, might I add.)
