you wouldnt have a clue christine kennealy , another blatant rip off by the government for some back handed deal , what sort of incentive is the government offering ???? NONE
If I heard right, the Premier stated that the reason for the increase in greenslips was due to the injuries a motorcycle rider would suffer in a crash. What a load of bollocks! The greenslip sceme or scam as I see it for NSW, is ment to cover others of injuries, not the actual rider. The fine print on all green slip policy's dont cover any motorcycle rider what so ever if they are the at fault party in a crash.
So in short, your statement in this video is completely invalid, and WRONG!
I am quite surprised at the Premiers dogmatic reply. 250's up $180, 750's up $60, 1000's up $160 Busa's and Harley's up $220. Those that went down? 600's about $100, scooters down $6. 5 minutes on the MAA Calculator will show the error in her figures. To put it into perspective, VTR1000 $667, Nisan Patrol 2.5 tonne 7 seater $650.
in the end nothing will change, the government gets their cut and so does the insurance companies,,,and who has to suffer,,,WE DO,,ill be voting out Labour and thats good ridence to the blonde puppet..
Granted, motor cycle riders are at greater risk, however, teach the idiots that drive cars (who don't ride) to watch where they are going. I have almost been wiped out by many a car driver, never a rider on a motor cycle rider. And why should the motor cycle rider pay for that.
And as for the MCC, where did you get that info, because the MCC certainly hasn;t asked me my concerns. I have never heard such a crock of rubbish ... actually yes I have, everytime a state labour politician opens their mouth. Who ar eyou in bed with Ms Kenally.
And if, as the government say, it is for the ongoing medical care of the motor cycle riders after an accident, well I don't wnat to be the one to test that theory. But I will guarantee it won't becasue the insurance company will have so many stipulations on what and how things can be claimed. This is for the profits of the insurance companies, watch their financial figures at the end of the next financial year. Let us see what their profits end up being.
There is more I could sayparticularly on how the figures of motor cycle accidents are over inflated and how the conclusions about motor cycle riders being in 'MORE' accidents than drivers is in a word a crock. Ms Kenally grown a brain, get a life, we have a life and it is our bikes. STOP BECOMING A DICTATORSHIP GOVERNMENT, LIVE AND LET LIVE.
