@oldstock1607 they have found skeletons which they consider to be African, in south america. And are dated to 1300AD. Again this is not mainstream info. There is spearheads that were found with simularities only to south america and west africa. there is also a close simularity with Mande and Omlec language. if you are really interested i suggest those books to you, But van sertimas is easier to find than Leo Wieners book.

Van sertima does a well rounded research which include, Linguistic, religous, Botany, Oceanoghraphy, Craftmanship, and a range of other evidence on Africans coming to america. I for 1 do not hold any bias towards real research. I read all spectrum of material. But whats presented in Classrooms and Mainstream media is all the same train of thought and made as final say so

@Ajanibakari I'll take a look at Van Sertima, but it really seems that if this were the case, I would have heard about it. Indeed, finding fossil evidence of pre-slavery blacks living in the Americas would have turned the historical world on it's ear. Yet I've never heard of it.

@oldstock1607 False. Africa is the closest continent to America and the journey from west africa to america is the most possible route out any other continent journey. Africans have been sailing the seas for Millineums. i suggest your read Van Sertima's Book on the subject. Again saying africans could of never made the trip but all others could have is taking away from what Africa has done. Not all Natives are from the west. There are cherokee that are of eastern migration. Try Leo Wieners book
