City Of Perth's Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi says the council will have to weigh up whether to continue funding the $1 million Australia Day Skyworks amid dwindling crowd numbers in recent years. Seven News' Sally Bowery reports.

  • I do not know I walk around the world , in young years I worked in Perth , as a clerk in the consulate ant aftar 10 years ago I was on vacation for 20 days and tegorically affirm ,Perth is the nicest, most prity city in the world.And I would like to end my life was spent inPerth, and also now am a familyman, I have promised to myself if one day I wiil be financially well , secured would love to my wife and my two daughters to see the city that I dreamed every day.   • I hope, this isn't what will happen to Riverfire in Brisbane, after a couple of years without the F111's as the main attraction. The broadcast and sponsorship deals for the event expire this year...

  • Would love new things for Skyworks next year such as fireworks coming out from the Narrows Bridge and the axing of the Australia Day air show as the crowd builds up only until just before the fireworks itself start.
