Early afternoon a man was walking along the Jordan Creek in Jordan Park and spotted an American Alligator on the bank of the creek. Allentown police arrived and confirmed it was a 'gator about 5 - 6 feet long. Animal control responded.

Not long after, they gained control of the 'gator, then had to figure out what to do with it. They called Gary Lee, a reptile specialist, to the scene and he took the 'gator home with him. Gary will find a nice home for the American Alligator. Someone apparently dropped it off at the park after it grew to big to keep as a pet.

  • If it is a crocodile swimming down the river and the police are all friendly and take him to a rescue center, but if it brother walking down the street minding his business and the police see him, they go: "You, there, get your filthy cracks hand up in the air and stick those gums in"...

  • in or around its mouth or your pets.

  • That Gator. was a 5 footer hes skinny as you can see and hasnt eaten right hopefully hes being properly kept at a Zoo. and the way they handled is very very un-humane. i mean it was only 5 ft long you didnt need the noose or the rope or tye his feet up which could have caused the gator to be more stressed. all it takes is you get on his back Properly. tape his mouth shut. pick him up and put him in the vehicle. a gator that small is harmless unless your dumb enough to put your hand or head

  • @Quintega Obviously... I'm referring to the Whitehall/Allentown border.

  • @FDNY101202 its PA not the border

  • @kinghaas Not illegal. PA law allows pet alligators.

That being said, abandoning pets like this is still unexcusably irresponsible, and the guy who abandoned this gator should have never bought the gator in the first place without thinking.

  • 3 men to hold a 4ft gator lmao the other guy is holding the tip of the tail.....gggeeeesssshhhhh all that just to get on the news

The tail?thats like holding an arrested killers chess hair saying yeah i gottem also lmao

  • Wowww.. I used to go fishing at that area when I was a kid (back in the 80s)..
