An American Musical Version of Charlie's Aunt by Brandon Thomas, chock full of old songs from the early 1900's. Adapted by Gary Lamb and William A. Reilly from Crown City Theatre Company in North Hollywood, California. The critics name it "Critics Pick" "5 out of 5 Stars" "Wow!"

Are you talking about the video or the production? The shows been getting Standing Ovations... and it's a farce. All the songs in this version were huge hits in their day and I am willing to bet you can only hum one tune from "Where's Charley?" Also, I am also willing to bet that it's a slightly longer show then this one. That said... it is live theater and perhaps the night you saw it the actors were told the A/C is on and fans, so you need to be louder. But will pass on word to tone down.

i can't believe what i just watched. the acting is soooo over the top and huge. they honestly seemed to be yelling every line. people don't scream and yell like that when they're talking. the choreography seemed a bit "predictable" as well. it's a good idea to make this show into a musical, except it's already been done in "where's charley?"why not just do that show. it's much shorter and the songs are a bit catchier. it's a frank loesser score.if anything, just tone these actors down.
