  • Undskyld Roxpost, jeg sad vist lige og sov i timen. Det jeg skrev før passer jo ikke, troede lige det var vores version af "Immigrant Song" du skrev om, men "Vølverne" er fra Krauka's 3. plade "Bylyr".

  • @Thrym865 The völva were also know for hoods. It it identical to the word we use for the hooded part above the clitoris on a women. This hoods were made from many material to most infamous were cats hair, sheep wool of many colors. The were known to set upon Seiðhjallar or platforms and sing their songs. They also carried twisted metal rods and distaffs. Which there is one cause were a Völva caused a man to forget everything by tapping him 3x on the cheek with it...

  • @DarkShinyH Vølve = female pagan fortuneteller with knowledge of seiðr (magic). It also means stave or wand because they carried and used one (probably a sacred relic for rituals related to Óðinn). In christian times, these "priests" became outlawed and burned as witches.
