I rode the cable car in san francisco the other day and I heard these three ladies talking, they had this melodic accent, i was captured, fell in love, I found out they were from newcastle. Eric doesn't have that melodic accent, but does he sing with soul! What an improvement on the original this is.

I love the way Eric makes this song his own. The Joe Tex version is great in its own way. But only a Geordie Brit would put a reference to a "tea pot" in such a song. FANTABULOUS !
