Lee Mack "Captain Fingers" Ritenour is a guitarist, recording artist, composer and producer. He began his career at the age of 16 and has appeared on over 3000 sessions, recorded over 40 albums, and has charted over 30 instrumental and vocal contemporary jazz hits since 1976. He is probably best known for the hit "Is It You" in 1981. Ritenour is considered to be a pioneer in the Contemporary Jazz and jazz-funk genres of music.
Heavily influenced by Wes like so many others, Ritenour added his own unique flavor, making him who he is. This is one of his major tunes that set him out on his journey.

@IRONMANHONDO87 Pat Metheny also mentions WM as his biggest influences. He says WM is the only guitarist in whom he can find no fault.

Lee always names the great Wes Montgomery as the biggest influence on his skills as a guitarist. I just wish that black musicians knew of Wes. Lee always trys to do Wes when he does a Montgomery tune. Only George Benson mentions Wes besides Lee. Lee has his own style of play but he never forgets Wes.
