You kidding me? ipad is the future? I sold my ipad beacause it's just a digital toy. It distracts you from real life, no matter how cool the ipad is.
No ios bullcrap please. I want to touch real knobs with my fingers.

You build a drum machine... you sit and talk about it to the public while having a beer. Roger is awesome!

The ipad is the next step for the evolution of music production where the studio comes to you. I can record anything and everything onto my ipad with 24bit sampling and 96khz mastering, when the original linn drum machine was only 8bit like the fair light, do you see or get where I'm going with this?

Drum machines arrived from lack of drummers keeping beat or being available, no one beats the real sounds of a drumset. The warmth sound comes from circuitry that was only available in the late 70s early 80s, what if they would have had today's circuitry or technology would it still have sounded warmth? About "real" knobs most likely if you have recorded professionally younger have use pro tools the "standard" in the industry meaning you have used a mouse not knobs.
