47 Muscles to smile only three to properly pull a trigger.

@gdbaradit it essentially means that it takes more energy to kill somebody with a smile than to beat them to death. I hope that helps!

So, the point is that kindness is not necessarily good, even more, it can be worse than brutality. People are saying the sun wasn't being kind the second time, because he intended harm from the beginning. Well yea but they are mising the point. The heat of the sun is in both times, representing kindness itself. So kindness did both things, made the man take his clothes off with no conflict, and torture him to death. So don't go thinking by just being kind you do good. Very clever azrienoch (Y)

I remember hearing this story when I was about 8 years old in school.
Yet, they never mentioned the part about beating the shit out of someone.....

@gdbaradit The cloud turned to face the sun, who smiled. The cloud scoffed. "Oh, this doesn't mean you win. It takes more energy to smile than it does to just kick the shit out of someone."

God? I'm not sure what your catholic school is doing to classic stories, but the original is by Aesop and had no mention of God whatsoever. Which should be expected. He lived in ancient Greece.
