Measuring and releasing. 16 inches, and that's not bad for a small creek in
Pennsylvania.

  • A spot on the Neshaminy I once knew thoroughly holds (or held) smallmouths of amazing size. I was spin-fishing there one morning, for holdover trout, in May about 24 years ago. I caught a smallmouth which was about a foot-long. He was going wild and fighting as though possessed. As he is being reeled-in I spot the reason why he's fighting like mad; a smallmouth of considerable size was right on his tail. The eyes on this lunker were the size of 50 cent pieces. I get a chill thinking of this now.

  • plenty of small and large mouth in the creek. they hit on top water plugs all summer. caught a little striper down hulmeville bout 4 or 5 miles from the deleware last summer too

  • quality nesham product, i got the best spot for the big boys, right out in the miller quarry, the rock formations and fallen trees are irresistable for the bass to relax on, and i just cast a slug-o on g-lock worm hooks, right along the shade line, and pitching into deep pulls provides some monster smalls.
