Las Vegas, Nev., (May 15, 2009) - Jay Littmann, founder of Chef Jay's Food Products, a Las Vegas-based manufacturer of protein-fortified food products today donated 9,000 of his protein-packed Tri-O-Plex "Lite Bites" Chocolate Chip Cookies to the Chefs for Kids Program. These cookies will be distributed to 12 low-income schools throughout the Las Vegas Valley and will serve as their snack of the month. Chef Jay's "Lite Bites" cookies have less calories, sugar and fat grams than other sweet snacks the school district is currently providing; and because they also provide 12g of protein, they are not only delicious, but are also a healthier alternative to sweet snacking.

Chef Jay's Tri-O-Plex are far and away the best tasting protein bars, cookies and brownies on the market today and they even contribute to the community. What a mensch!
