Lorna & Jenna--We Can Do This Together

Lorna approaches Jenna and suggests that Jenna may want to deal with the arrangements. Jenna explodes at Lorna, saying of course she'll take care of the arrangements because Lucas is her father. Lorna says that's right, this is Jenna's family. Jenna says she waited her whole life to find a mother and father, and when she did find them in Felicia and Lucas, she did everything she could to keep them together. Lorna replies that she knows; she watched Jenna do it. Jenna vehemently refuses to give up her family.

"Jenna, you have to understand something right from the start," Lorna tells her. "I never wanted to interfere with your life. When Felicia told me I was her daughter, I was happy to just let it go and not tell anyone."

"Then why, Lorna?" Jenna asks.

"Felicia pushed it, that's why," Lorna replies.

"And Lucas?" Jenna wants to know.

"Lucas made it very clear that he loved you more than his own flesh and blood. Now that's gotta tell you something, Jenna," Lorna replies, but there is no anger in Lorna's voice when she says this.

"I never knew my real father, Lorna. But I know that Lucas loved me very much," Jenna said.

"He did. He did," Lorna assures Jenna with a tearful smile. "You were his pride and joy. He loved you more than anything on this earth."

"Where do we go from here?" Jenna asks tearfully.

"Look, we can either do this together, or you can tell me to get lost, it's your choice," Lorna replies.

Jenna says there are so many things that need to be worked out now, and Lorna offers to make a few arrangements. Jenna says that Lucas was counting on her to help Felicia through this. Lorna, again with a tearful smile, tells Jenna that she knows Jenna will do just that, and Lucas did too. Lucas knew Jenna would follow through for him. Jenna says she should talk to Mom (meaning Felicia). Lorna turns to go, but Jenna stops her and says maybe there is something Lorna can help her with.

John returns then, alone. Jenna asks him how Felicia is. John replies that Felicia wanted to be alone; she said she needed to go to a special place. The tearful smile returns to Lorna's place; she knows exactly where their mother has gone, although neither Jenna nor John has any idea. John leaves the sisters alone.

"Worried?" Lorna asks.

Jenna nods. "You have any idea where she might be?" she asks.

"Yeah," Lorna replies. "Listen, I think I know where that special place is. If you give me a few hours, I'll go and I'll pick her up and I'll bring her back."

"No, if you're going, I'm going with you," Jenna says.

"All right," Lorna agrees. "But if you say 'Are we there yet?' once, I'm gonna have to kick you out of the car."

"I knew you'd have car rules," Jenna replies.

"Come on," Lorna replies, and they leave to go after their mother. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

amazing. their father dies and it's still all about ME with Jenna and how it affects HER and HER family while Lorna's trying to be respectful, meanwhile if Lorna hadn't of stepped up and admitted she was Lucas's daughter Jenna wouldn't have had the chance to say goodbye!

It's scenes like these that made AW so special. The dialogue between the two of them was so serious and then at the very end was the bit about "car rules." Makes you laugh thru the tears.
