@iseered22 There were multiple delays (the first was after a couple of points) but the pivotal one was when Lindsay was 6-2, 2-1 up.

Davenport could've won this. Despite her superior technique and finesse, she faced a younger, faster and at the time, terribly vicious opponent with the firepower to match.
I believe Sharapova is in the same stage Davenport was in this video. She's clearly facing younger opponents who are equipped to handle her past her prime -- though none of them as excitingly explosive to watch as Sharapova or Serena.

@ispaht many people have had rain come and save the day lol. serena vs hantuchova 2007 also. federer vs roddick 2004 final andy was a st and a break or something like that playing so well and then along came the rain.
