In this video, I explore and debunk a few of the common myths surrounding the Council of Nicaea, as propagated by books like The Da Vinci Code; movies like Zeitgeist, The Movie; and groups like the Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons. The myths I address in this video:

1. Constantine headed the Council and/or dictated its decrees.
2. Nicaea determined the canon of the New Testament and had other books destroyed.
3. The Bishops at Nicaea betrayed the truth Christian Faith.

  • @MrAlhaji1 That's historically incorrect. I suggest that you do your research and stop saying silly things like this.

  • Why do you mention repeatedly the word pope? This is a later invention of Roman Catholic Church. The concept is found no where in the NT or the early Christian church. There was no universal bishop over the Christian church at the council of Nicaea. Other than that the video is pretty good.

  • @clarkbailey1973 Now I truly understand why there are more than 38,000 different Christian Sects. So many twists, turns, views, misconceptions, of such proportions it is mind boggling!!

God is the energy within that causes the atom, that energy that holds all things together, to create this illusion we call life, the illusion of Matter, Energy, Space, Time. Our mission is to wake up!! Stop killing, destroying, manipulating this energy that holds all things together. WE ARE ALL CONNECTED,

There is no way to take the Blood off of Anyone's hands.

Every Race, Every Creed, Every Nationality, Etc has, at one time or another, been the author of Atrocities...often on a vast scale, some recently.

Fortunately history has taught most of the civilized world that Slavery, Genocide, Indiscriminate Killing and a whole lot of other Evils are not of any benefit.

But those things still go on, probably won't ever stop.

The Human Race is very flawed.

    Fix it.

  • @hammerogod I also mentioned two British corporations; and whether they're Dutch, British or French they're all white. And yes I said SOME Africans traded other Africans after Europeans threatened them with their own enslavement. You need evidence before you make sweeping statements like "all Africans". Although nothing you say takes the blood of the world (Africans, Native Americans, Aboriginees, Japanese) off the white man's hands.

  • @onlysweetz

You call me a liar then you turn right around and then name the Dutch East India Company, something I had already said.

Then you say that "Some" Africans assisted, a vast understatement.

The truth is that virtually all "Slaves" were captured by BLACK AFRICANS and sold to the Arabs and Dutch.

    My statement stands.

  • @hammerogod (2/2) The Dutch East India Company, British East India Company and Royal African Company are the European corporations that financed and profitted from the enslavement of Africans. Stop trying to wipe blood off of White people's hands. History speaks for itself.

  • @hammerogod

(1/2) Lies! What is your evidence that Africans started, financed and fully supported slavery?? While SOME Africans assisted in the trade of other Africans (at the threat of themselves being captured and traded), you are more than exagerrating their participation. Moral equivocation is not a good look on you. Africans certainly did not load themselves on ships and forced labor upon themselves in every part of the Western Hemisphere.

  • God gives us spiritual truth, the devil organizes it into religion.

  • @Waacm check out what Jesus said in Matthew 23:6-13.

    verse 9 and 10:

9 Moreover, do not call anyone YOUR father on earth, for one is YOUR Father, the heavenly One. 10 Neither be called ‘leaders,’ for YOUR Leader is one, the Christ.

    ***

Do you call anyone in your religion "Father"? Can such a thing affect one's mind? The way someone gathers information about God? Note verse 13:

    “Woe to YOU, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because YOU shut up the kingdom of the heavens before men;

  • @MrAlhaji1

African slavery was started, financed and fully supported by Africans.

It was common for one African ethnic group (Tribe) to capture slaves from another group (Tribe) and sell them to the Arabs.

If you want some wisdom on the subject just study the history of the Hutus and the Tutsis.

The truth is that White slave traders were very rare, and most of them came from Holland.

  • @robZzdaboss Ever heard of King David, you puritan?

  • stop calling constantine a saint he wasnt
