Etta Baker who played in the Piedmont Style Blues was taught to play by her father. This is just my rendition of her song as I have yet to hear anyone play like her. Her phrasings are pretty tough to copy but I did try. :-) The guitar is a Taylor 814CE played through a Fishman SA 220 Soloamp. Many thanks to Will Fly for recommending that I learn this song. Will has been a major influence and inspiration for me over the last year or so. His YouTube channel is www.youtube.com/user/HenfieldWill . He can also be found hanging out on Will's Porch at willsporch.ning.com/ . If your truly interested in improving your playing I would highly recommend joining his forum. Also much thanks to Garry Cogdell who is another that has inspired me from the first time I heard him play. Now if I can only make it another 40 years to get as good as these guys! :-)
nice video sir!

How do you like the SA220?

@wallys123 The SA 220 is an awesome soloamp and before I bought it I looked at the Bose System for around the same money and feature for feature the SA 220 won hands down!

First off, you can't really play blues on an expensive guitar like that Taylor 814ce. They just don't have the same tone in them....Now if you trade me for my old-beat up-fender CD-60-lets go camping special, you will play much better......Haha. OK just thought it was worth a try. .... nice vid.:)
