http://absolutemichigan.com interview with Paul Stamets, who just might save us from ourselves. He has written 6 books on mushrooms with more to come. Listen to his brilliant insight into sustainability and what you can do to help!
@armaximus -It is easy to understand why you feel this way. Many of us have. But Mr Stamets' work is just one exampe of how this need not be true. None of us is tasked with saving the planet alone. If we each do what we can with what we have on hand, reducing our negative impact & making contributions back to the eco-sphere. Like a course adjustment, even small adjustments add up. Where there ius life there is hope.
The only thing I fear is that people will hear that we can catch pollution with the burlap bags filled with mulch and micillium, and think they don't have to change there current life styles. We need a complete reverse way of thinking on this planet-co-existing. I am all for it, I just know that humans are lazy and don't really want change.

Unfortunately... It'll be too late before the world as a whole gets on board...
First step is to change the way we think.... Plants and Fungi can assist with this. But the powers that be enforce prohibition!
Why? for an unsustainable monetary system and an ideology that doesn't make sense...
Our future generations are doomed.
