Estoril is a civil parish of the Portuguese municipality of Cascais. The Estoril coast is close to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. It starts in Carcavelos, 15 kilometres from Lisbon, and stretches as far as Guincho.
The two main resort towns are Estoril and Cascais. Estoril has a famous casino, the Estoril Casino. Estoril was the residence of Juan de Borbón, pretender to the Spanish throne during the last part of the 20th century.

The population of Estoril in 2001 was 23,769, its density is 2,702/km² and the area is 8.79 km². Cascais is a town on the Atlantic Ocean about 30 kilometres west of Lisbon, Portugal. It is a cosmopolitan suburb of the Portuguese capital and one of the richest municipalities in Portugal.

  • Very Nice Video

  • Since they pay 350 euros is it possible to live on that without

any living family, my husband died so I have no one.

If I have to beg what do beggers make in Portugal Lisboa?

This sounds awful but I am a disabled woman in a wheelchair

who has nothing at all and told social security is 350 euros.

Would you please tell me how Portugal is today? Thank You

    Gracias

  • I am returning to Portugal and I was told social security is 350 euros

I know that is very little money to live on and I am wheelchair bound

so no one is going to hire me plus I don't speak the language so I

will end up begging for a living. Aveiro is the town of birth I belive is

2 hours from Lisbon. Does Portugal have low income apartments?

is begging my most likly outcome? I know their is free healthcare

for citizens. I have lived in U.S.A. but their is nothing their and my

    husband died

  • Really nice video... congratulations...

Just a small correction, Estoril and Cascais are two small towns and they are both part of the Cascais "Council".

The Cascais Council stretches from Sintra to Oeiras all through the Coast.

  • Portugal te adoro! One of the most beautyful places of the world. If you are interested in more nice places of Portugal you can see a nice animation of typical portuguese houses on my account or look for " casa portuguesa animation "

    saudade

  • Sou de Bicesse costumo de passar por Estoril e saio com amigos para Cascais...
