I'm reading Letters To A Bullied Girl for book club and it just broke my heart, not to hear her story only, but the many others that get told in this letters. I realize how laid back I was beign. We can make a difference, and the greatest power is our prayer. We the Children of God have an immense power on our hands, prayer can do AMAZING things. Many of this bullied kids think that the only solution to their problem is to end their life, we need to tell me that the answer does not lie in taking your life, but in coming to God and letting him in, because, there is a power in us by prayer and God can stop someone whose about take their life. I love my God and I love the way he works and the way he loves people.
I was once bullied and was pretty much devastated by it, I don't think my mom even knows about this, but the more I tried to fit in, the more bullied I got, specially by other girls and guys who were very superficial, and even today, I am still very self-conscious about my looks and such since I'm a little overweight and always have been. It has taken people like my family, my Boyfriend, my Pastors and friends to get me to realize that I am beautiful, and still I doubt. Bullying can have harmful long term effects like the ones I'm suffering now, but I give thanks and glory to God that he's helping through them and he gives me strength to keep fighting.

Love this teddy. Thank you for making us all think about our responsibilities when it comes to bullying in our schools. You are so right about the new media outlets also. Kids can be so cruel.
