In this uSchoolme lesson you will learn how to manually add a printer by it's IP address using System Preferences. This is very handy to know if you work in a school or organization that uses network printers allowing anyone to print to it over the network.
Great straight forward video and most importantly to the point!! thank you!!!!

Hello, Is it possible to send the print job over the internet? I sometimes would like to print to my home printer, while at work. Thanks.
My printer is connected to my wireless network at home. Also, I use a netgear router with security enabled.

Most printers will allow you to print a network report.
All good printers will have this feature. Some are accessed on a digital display where as others have a small black button at the back that will print out this info.
Also ask your network admin :)
