What drives a person to think in such a delusional manner? Dr. Stone will try to answer this question by interviewing convicted murderer Diana Dial.

  • One common thread I've noticed running through ANY youtube video comments page: SOMEBODY is always going to pick a fight using: 1.) Religion, 2.) Politics, then it will escalate from there to name-calling and sh*t slinging, where it will soon devolve into somebody pointing out someone else's grammatical errors, ideally so the *whole* internet will know that the other person, *shudder,* misspelled a word,

  • this video is garbage, Doctor Ston'ed' is a delusional bastard himself, this woman makes perfect sense either to protect her own identity or tell the truth, this is not a schizo pathic person that you would consider delusional

  • @FinnishRunning that's crazy is she delusional or does this on purpose?

  • @LordOftheMind She actually was crazy. She murdered her roommate, has a long history of mental illness, changed her last name to Dial because she believed she was part of the dial soap family, and would do random stuff like yank her kids out of school because she thought the Nazis were coming to get them. She also said Bill Clinton kidnapped her. This clip does not paint an accurate picture at all. You should google it - there is so much more to that story than this portion of the tv episode.

  • @ihatekoolaid14 I like Kool Aid

  • @Antiks72 "diatribe" wow, fancy... ;) alas, yes, i hit the comma key instead of the period key...

  • @jsawyer277 Yeah, that's bullshit. Discovery Channel is fucking sensationalistic.

  • @ihatekoolaid14 You need a period at the end of your diatribe.

  • Gotta love the hyped intro.

  • @ihatekoolaid14 Shut up hippie

  • Come on, Discovery Channel. Using the word "evil" in dealing with cases of mental illness? Science my ass.

  • Texas librarian Diana Dial gunned down her unsuspecting roommate. Dial told authorities that the victim, Jack Pharris, had been poisoning her and was planning to poison the rest of her family. But Dial, who has a history of mental illness, quickly showed authorities the full extent of her delusions, including a claim that Bill Clinton and George Mitchell — kidnapped and drugged her. She even changed her last name legally to Dial because she believed she was part of the Dial soap family.

  • So what did she do though????

  • 0:41 She doesn't even look like woman.

  • crucify her!

  • She's a paranoid schizophrenic with delusional thinking. Very obvious. Her education or ability to speak in what seems to be an articulate way have nothing to do with her severe mental illness. Definitely crazy.

  • If you look at this in depth, She is classified as a criminal who is under treatment for delusional thinking. But she clearly has a background of education and is well spoken. She knows what she is talking about and these people who are hiding behind the scenes are powerful occult leaders who are destroying her image.

They are masterminds of manipulating, deceiving and misleading a person. THEY are the most evil because they hide and frame others for things that they didn't commit. 4:44

  • @MrDoable I re-read what I typed, and I typed it right. Comma's = pauses. Also, first letters of new sentences are capitalized. I definitely COULD have made a mistake, of course. But I didn't.

  • @mowriter Are you the news reporter? and whats with your two commas? that makes you look stupid LOL

  • @MrDoable I've got bad news for you, then, sir. (LOL).

  • @BVX090 no dickface, I am not. I don't think people care about her, at least this is first time that I see her, I simply said she's not delusional to fond against the video title and some dickhats like you who configure their garbage opinions ithout basic knowledge in psychology or criminal justice, I say fuck you and don't reply back, you not worth talking to anymore.

  • that is the crazy thing when people have delusions...they are just as real to them as we are. They are convinced and will not be dissuaded until normally properly medicated and in some cases that only helps a fraction.

  • she makes perfect sense

  • @rorybowskill Also, it's spelled 'excessive'. You can now say you wrote it deliberately to prove your point - on which I will answer that my responses were simply sarcastic in nature, merely to point out that your obvious deduction on the average internet discussion which becomes easily a flame war is true.

Hope I didn't cause too much resentment by replying to a 5 month old comment. Shall we now proceed in arguing whether this sentence ends in a question mark or a capital D? :-DDD

  • Why not start with the clinical definition of 'delusional' , perhaps because it would reveal that believing in things that are true but are not generally accepted as true is bvy definition delusional. E.g. the earth going round the sun and beinjhg round was a delusion until it became accepted.

On the other hand what about Iraqs' WMDs' which have been shown not to exist? are those politicians who authorised a war on the basis of their belief in this delusion to be declared insane officially?
