  • @OldFartKeyWester why don't you reply to the guy who was asking instead of me I play the game

  • @luftim When my Jedi Sage got his ship, at level 16 or so, I got a nice "Congratulations, Captain!" e-mail with a link to all kinds of information about the different types of ships! Very nice indeed!

  • @OldFartKeyWester When you reach a level 10 character you will get a nice e-mail from The Old Republic Community called "Helpful TIps and Advice for Level 10 and Beyond," with a link to an on-line guide especially for your class! Nice touch!

  • @haters123 Agreed. I have a Republic trooper, Jedi Sage, Sith Inquisitor and Imperial Agent going, and there is a LOT of variety in their quests. If you remember Silk Road, Knight Online et.al there were lots of grind quests (kill 20 of these, then you go back and kill 40 of these, then 60, etc.) In this game this type of quest is mostly a bonus which you can ignore if you like.

  • @OldFartKeyWester I do not recommend trying to play it on a game with integrated graphics - I believe a dedicated video card is needed to be reasonably happy with it.

  • @MPSx85 I have a standard quad core desktop with a mid-range ATI video card and it plays fine at 720p. I can play it at 1920x1080, my monitor's native resolution, but I get major lag in large indoor areas.

  • @Icecube88 You can make a number of races, including variations in human racial features, and even body types from willow thin to roly poly!

  • @Texamerican12 You can also order a 6-month pre-paid chunk for something like $US 77 and pay with paypal on-line. You get a 30 day code with the initial install package, whether you buy it physically or on-line.

  • @vlad1076 The lightsaber for the inquisitor is gained from a particular class quest, i.e. a main quest, and if you ignore all side quests and others and follow the main story line you can get to that quest sooner, which is likely how they got theirs. If they got them legally, that is?

  • @OldFartKeyWester I have a friend from another country with very limited English and he plays the game in a window with another window open to a google translation dictionary to look up the odd word that may not be familiar to him. Just a thought!
