I think the last guy was Robert Lockwood Jr. I saw him and David "HoneyBoy" Edwards play that year--(must have been that year) at the Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis. Both in their 90's. It was a magic night. David Edwards took questions later and when asked about Robert Johnson and the crossroads thing he laughed and said some think the crossroads was white whiskey. We all laughed and loved hangin' with this great bluesman. It was kind of hard to believe the greatness we saw that night.
very cool stuff.blues is second to none.
