  • @jtd105sx Mechanical pumps used to keep working almost forever. Ask your local garage how many modern diesels they see with pump issues, I'm sure they will say that the common rail pumps fail often and early.

  • I am a student doing a project at Bosch and I have been assigned to the plant where they manufacture the pumps CP1/H, my job is to study them, analyse, quality control check, etc.. Thanks for the video, I was confused over it's mechanism, now it's all clear.

    garages replace far more common rail pumps than mech inj pumps.

    its a common occurance they r typical of modern shite.

    personally I prefer a good old mechanical injection pump rather than common rail stuff.
