Go to http://yourguitarsage.com/ to find out how to get a free guitar ebook that will have you playing guitar today!!! This guitar lesson vid shows you how to play Don't Be Cruel by Elvis Presley It shows you the chords, strumming technique and style. For more guitar lessons, see my other free tutorials. For original and cover music by me, Erich, go to http://www.myspace.com/erichandreas. Since I'm so busy making new video tutorial lessons all the time and teaching guitar, I probably won't have time to answer individual questions regarding guitar. Other videos cover beginner, advanced and intermediate levels. I teach rock, blues, country and just about any other style on electric or acoustic. If you can't find your answer from the resources at the website above, keep digging into my vids, and I'm sure you will find your answer. Keep practicing!!!

  • @Bergs666 Im a kid or Im 15 atleast

  • why do u think we are kids ?? :D:D:D

  • elvis sang it in D, just play D , E mi, A7, G, A play the lick with your little finger in the D chord, play a walking base line in G and A

  • @Amadeus1066 the right way is the way elvis played it

  • Thank you so much, getting on in years stopped playing some 35 year ago started playing again 3 months ago loads of catching up to do yea, Would like it without the cappo though. but thank you all the same

  • Dude, Thank you so much for this video....I always wanted to learn how to play it. I made a lil' video of me singing it.....i don't play or sing well...but it was very fun. THANKS !

  • i dont know why you dont just play it in D, its so easy to do the original way, whats the deal with the capo?

  • @Weraisethenerdyflag

Dont do that :) Just play the same he plays and sing it lower.

Or transpose it = use D instead of C, A instead of G and so on...

  • There is no "right way" to play anything! There are many different ways to arrange a song.

  • @Weraisethenerdyflag just play it without the capo. it will just be a step down from where he is at. what he is teaching is not the "right way", anyways. watch a vid of elvis playing it, you will see no capo.
