Parliament was the theatre of an intense political and legal face-off, as mps debated a motion by Chepalungu lawmaker Isaac Ruto, seeking to pull Kenya out of the Rome Statute. The motion seeks to force the government to tender a formal application to the United Nations Secretary General, delinking Kenya from the Rome Statute. However, the motion was met with a barrage of criticism, with Justice Minister Mutula Kilonzo and Gichugu mp Martha Karua terming it unconstitutional. Prime Minister Raila Odinga was hard-pressed to dispel claims of instigating the inclusion of Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North mp William Ruto in the infamous Ocampo list, to ease his race for state house in 2012. Francis Gachuri reports.
these Mps' attention span is short...the law is no respecter of collective ignorance; they were hysterical choosing HaQue...now tails between legs whining!

Raila you are a super human! Kenyans admire your courage, consistence in the midst of hate, lies, innuendos, all manners of pain that has been thrown at you. All these are agents of impunity, self seekers washindwe. wamefika mwisho. They used us to push colonialist then hide in tribe factor and fleece the country dry. Wakenya wako na wewe bega kwa bega kabisa. Remember tuko caanan!

Why does Ruto want to divert the attention of the House? This is not a soccer game hence time wasting tactic doesn't work and the ICC does not depend on the outcome of this motion, which which will never be passed anyway (because of the already divided opinions). He should dedicate time now to prepare his "defense" if any.
