Unfounded Revenge from Mother 3 (Mario Paint)

Sixty-fourth video and brianLED's last in 2008. This theme gets the somewhat dubious honor of being the first one that I made in Mario Paint Composer without actually encountering the track in the game. I recently downloaded the translation of Mother 3, and as of now I'm at the end of the third chapter, but I haven't encountered it in the game yet. I do know it's technically known as "Misplaced Revenge," but I prefer to call it "Unfounded" because 1. I think it sounds better, and 2. It's known as "unfounded" in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, where a remix of this theme plays with "Anthem of Destruction." This, however, isn't the remix. It is the original theme that plays in Mother 3.

Normally I would use the second paragraph to talk about the game, but since I'm not even done with it myself, I can't say much. However, I do recommend getting the translation of Mother 3; it's consistent with the witty jokes that were in Earthbound, and the people who translated it did a great job, I must say. If you want the translation, you'll need a ROM first, and I'm afraid you'll have to find that on your own. It's worth the trouble, trust me.

Because there were so many sixteenth notes and sixteenth note triplets found commonly throughout the piece, I made the tempo purposefully high to include everything in just four text files. Technically, it isn't "dickspeed" but I used echoes and cutoffs extensively. Also, this was made in the original soundset. Enjoy!

Whenever I hear this, I picture a king during a siege on his own castle. Sitting in his throne room, he orders his guards to do whatever they can to stop the madness of their attackers. In the end, the guards fail to do their duties, and the assailants finally reach the throne room with the king sitting in his velvet throne, awaiting his utter demise.

The timbre if the only thing that's off in this rendition... but then again this is only mario paint composer. At least smash bros had access to decent timbres when they made their wrong-timbred version.
