@MrJuha82 He did loose against Ray the first time.That last right did connect and made the difference.The first Probert fight cant even be called a fight!Also Brown as too many wins against punching bags such as Caufield,Frawley,Warren Young,Buskas,and all those goon wannabes the Pens would feed him.I would have like to see him go with Twist,Clark,Byers,Tinordi and Tocchet,Berube,Cochrane(they werent always teammates.)
He also struggled with Curran who was average.

@malawri67 you have no point if u don respects or dont rank him high bec Brown was definetely great, controlled the serie against Nilan and Miller. he fought 2 draws against Ray, pounded clearly Tie Domi, lost to Simon but he was veteran at that time, got dropped by Probert and their round1 is a draw. His serie with MCSorley is a draw and he only got edged by Hunter in their serie but defintely showed his goodness. Brown had god serie with Grimson, without any winner in that serie,

Probert,Nilan,Kyte,Mackay,MacSorley,Simon,Miller,Ray and a few others all scored wins over brown.Some even tkoed him:Kyte,MAcKay,Kimble.
Brown as to many wins against punching bags such as Warren Young,Caufield,Zemlak,Frawley,Jennings and all those minor leaugers Pittsburgh would feed him with.
Yet he never fought some of the best of his era:Twist,Kocur,Clark,Tocchet(they werent always teammates),Donnelly,Wilson,Cochrane,Byers,Gillies,Nystrom,ect...

this isnt a clear win Nilan, only edge Nilan but a draw isnt bad call bec Brown had his moment early of the battle and in the end Brown threw back couple of shots and Nilan wrestled him against the bench.
